Guidelines For Emailing The RALC
In every email, please include the following information:
- Your name as it appears on the plan of study
- Employment status as a teacher
- If employed, what school system you are with
- Your plan of study area as listed on your plan.
- Year your lateral entry license expires.
This will greatly assist us assist you.
Thank you for your interest in teaching in the North Carolina Public Schools. There are four Regional Alternative Licensing Centers (RALC) available to assist school districts in the licensing of teachers. Evaluations are provided by the centers for individuals seeking licensing.
The RALC’s limited resources dictates that individuals be self-directed. Employed teachers should contact the RALC through their human resources department. Prospective teachers may contact each regional director through the links below.
